Japanese Government Scholarship program information D3 S1 S2 Year 2013-2014
Registration for the 2013 departure has opened on May 14, 2012 and will close on June 15, 2012.

The program is intended for graduate students Indonesia Senior Secondary School (SLTA) to continue their education to the University (S-1), College of Technology (D-3) or Professional Training College (D-2) in Japan starting in 2013 academic (April 2013).
Applicants can only apply 1 (one) program of the S-1, D-3, or D-2.


PROGRAM

A. Undergraduate (S-1)

5-year study period included a year studying Japanese language (except public medical school, dental, veterinary, and some of the old pharmacy is a 7-year study period).

The Terms :

high school graduates; the average value of a diploma or third grade report card last semester of at least 8.4; born between 2 April 1991 and 1 April 1996.

Material written exam:
IPS: English and Mathematics
IPA-a: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics
IPA-b, c: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology

Choice of majors:
IPS:

Laws, Politics, Pedagogy, Sociology, Literature, History, Japanese language, Economics, Business Administration, and others.
IPA-a:

Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), Electric and Electronic Studies (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering), Mechanical Studies (Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture), Civil Engineering and Architecture (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering), Chemical Studies (Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Textile Engineering); and other fields (Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Biotechnology)
IPA-b:

Agricultural Studies (Agriculture, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Forestry, Food Science, Fisheries), Hygienic Studies (Pharmacy, Hygienics, Nursing), Science (Biology)

 IPA-c: Medicine: Dentistry

2. College of Technology (D-3)

Study period of 4 years including 1 year to learn Japanese. College of Technology has a 5-year program designed for junior high school graduates. Monbukagakusho Scholarship students (high school graduates) will enter the College of Technology as a third-year students. Engineering study consists mainly of experiments / trials and practice exercises. Graduates of these schools are expected to be a technical expert (engineer).
 

The terms:

Department of Science high school graduates; the average value of a diploma or 3 semester grade report card last at least 8.0; between the date of birth. 2 April 1991 and the date. 1 April 1996

Material written exam:
Mathematics and Chemistry / Physics (depending on the category of subject as below)

Choice of majors:
Chemistry: subjects related to chemistry such as "Materials Engineering" etc..

Other majors such as "Mechanical Engineering", "Electrical and Electronic Engineering", "Information, Communication, and Network Engineering", "Architecture and Civil Engineering", Maritime Engineering "etc..


3. Specialized Training College (D-2)

3-year study period included a year studying Japanese language. Specialized Training College apart from the usual Japanese education system. These schools offer practical vocational training.

The terms :

high school graduates; the average value of a diploma or 3 semester grade report card last at least 8.0; between the date of birth. 2 April 1991 and the date. 1 April 1996

Material written exam:
English and Mathematics

Choice of majors:

Civil Engineering and Architecture; Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Wireless Communication; Computer; Information Processing; nourishment; Cooking; Nursery Teacher Training; Nursing Welfare: Social Welfare; Management; Travel; Bussiness; Dressmaking Harmony: Music: Art: Design; Photograph; etc.

Note:
A. All exam questions in English.

Graduates of the S-1 can continue to S-2, and a graduate of D-3 and D-2 could continue to S-1 as a third-year students. But to continue the scholarship, depending on the achievements and results of selection. The students would be taking an entrance exam and the maximum two-year scholarship renewal.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

Registration period: From May 14, s / d June 15, 2012, only applicants who meet the requirements may apply.

Each applicant may only register one program only.

Applicants send the completed form, along with photocopies of certificates, diploma fototokopi value, and a copy of report card grade 3 semester 2 (can use a temporary document from the school when the original value of Kemdiknas not out), to the Japanese Embassy in Jakarta, or the Consulate General of Japan in Surabaya, and Medan, or Consular Office of Japan in Makassar. Documents can be hand delivered or sent via postal mail to:

Japanese scholarship D3 S1 S2 Year 2013-2014


SELECTION PROCEDURE :

Applicants who pass the preselection (selection of documents) will be called upon to follow the written examination (July). Preselection is based on the value of diplomas and report cards.

Those who pass the written exam will be called for interview in Jakarta (in Indonesian) in August. For those who pass the interview will be recommended to the Monbukagakusho.

Those who pass the selection in Monbukagakusho scholarship recipients will be. Determination of awardees is determined in January 2013.
